Michael T. Allen
CEO & Co-Founder
Michael Allen, CEO and Co-Founder of 5th Meridian Group, leads a Missouri-based, multi-state team—predominantly comprised of Veterans and seasoned public safety and industry professionals—providing mission-critical cash-in-transit (CIT), cash logistics, armed security, and related services across Missouri, Kentucky, Tennessee, Mississippi, Louisiana, Southern Illinois, and Eastern Kansas. He studied Criminal Justice at Southeast Missouri State University and Fire Science at Southwest Tennessee Community College.
A U.S. Army veteran, Mr. Allen reached the rank of Chief Warrant Officer II and served as a rated Army Aviator, flying the UH-60 Black Hawk for the Missouri Army National Guard and the AH-64 Apache for the Tennessee Army National Guard.
He began his career in law enforcement as a Missouri POST-certified police officer and also worked with the Missouri State Highway Patrol. He then spent more than 25 years in the fire service, rising to the rank of Fire Captain for a large municipality in southeast Missouri. Additional experience includes serving as a Firefighter for the City of Memphis, an Autopsy Technician/Death Investigator at the Regional Forensic Center in Memphis, and an Eye Tissue Procurement Specialist with the Mid-South Eye Bank and Mid-America Transplant in Missouri.
Mr. Allen held certifications as a Missouri Fire Investigator, Instructor, Emergency Medical Technician, and Hazardous Materials Technician, and has taught industrial safety, security, and emergency response for a regional Fortune 50 company for more than a decade.
In his free time, Michael is an avid outdoorsman, aviation enthusiast, and FAA-licensed commercial helicopter pilot.
