ARMED SECURITY OFFICER

 5th Meridian Group – Company overview:

Position: Armed Security Officer – Facility Protection

The facility Security Officer will serve as an armed facility protection specialist for Missouri licensed cultivation, production/infusion, testing, and dispensary facilities. Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Screen & Check-In Approved Patients / Maintain visitor logs.
  • Property Protection & Roving Patrol
  • Employee & Patron Escort
  • Surveillance / Critical Process Oversight
  • Home Delivery (In select regions, with select dispensaries.)
  • Tier I Surveillance System/Camera Maintenance & Service
  • Render medical care to patients and staff. (First Aid, CPR, AED, “Stop The Bleed” certified after hire.)
  • All Security Officers, regardless of rank or seniority, shall be subject to having safe and reasonable duties assigned to them by facility management to maximize safe, efficient, and profitable facility operation.
  • Use of armed or physical force to protect yourself, patients, visitors, and facility staff, may be required.

The 5th Meridian Group will strive to finance and implement an employee health insurance program based upon the development and strength of our company in this emerging, evolving market. Our target implementation date is in Q3 and Q4 of 2020 for full-time employees.

Open positions exist in St Louis City, St Louis County, Jefferson County, St Charles County, Southeast Missouri – including the Bootheel, Macon, MO, Kansas City, Cape Girardeau, Sikeston, Poplar Bluff. Additional locations added weekly.

Qualifications and Education Requirements
-Current Missouri POST certified Police Officers (active, retired) preferred.

-If not POST certified, the individual must possess a valid Security Officer license from the jurisdiction of the assignment.

-US Military Service Members – Former, Retired, or Guard/Reservist. (combat arms related MOS preferred)

-Current career Public Safety professionals with extensive experience in emergency and citizen services.

-Ability to complete a firearm safety course and range qualify with the duty weapon on a company administered proficiency table.

Armed Transport Officer

Position: Armed Transport Officer – Product & Revenue Transport

The Armed Transport Officer will serve as an armed transportation protection specialist for secure product and revenue transport from Missouri licensed cultivation, production/infusion, testing, and dispensary facilities to their intended destinations throughout the State of Missouri. Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Safe, secure, and compliant operation of company secure transport vehicles.
  • Promptly and professional delivery of cannabis, non-cannabis, and revenues as assigned.
  • Utilize company directed route surveillance and product transfer protocols.
  • Compliant operation of METRC tracking system and other compliance software.
  • Home Delivery (In select regions, with select dispensaries.)
  • Render medical care to patients and staff. (First Aid, CPR, AED, “Stop The Bleed” certified after hire.)
  • All Armed Transport Officer, regardless of rank or seniority, shall be subject to having safe and reasonable duties assigned to them by facility management to maximize safe, efficient, and profitable facility operation.
